Perform a custom installation of Crystal Enterprise, and install all components except the Web Component Server and the Web Connector. (See Custom installation for instructions.) Make sure to install the WCA feature and the Crystal Enterprise Java SDK feature (found under Crystal Developer components in the Select Features dialog box) on the machine where you installed your Java application server.
